The Lie of Free
"When everything else is abundant time becomes scarce" - George Gilder
"if your not paying for it you're not the customer; You are the product being sold" - Andrew Lewis
Information overload.
The abundance of information made possible in the last decade has been both exciting and overwhelming.
As someone who loves researching solutions to the obstacles I've had to overcome I've found it that sifting through all the junk information is more than half the battle.
The biggest purveyor of junk information are businesses.
I know because I was one of them.
When you are business selling a product one of the most effective ways you can do that is through marketing
I used Google Ads, SEO & Facebook Ads to convince people to buy yoga rugs.
If my goal is to purchase something then
Since they make all their money from advertising it's in their best interest to serve their customers
Which isn't you.
So for example rather than show you a natural health cure for a problem then will show you one from a pharmaceutical company.
Like most people I find it so annoying to have all these ads (distractions) popping up when I'm trying to read some content on a website.
It only made sense that anyone reading the blog posts I've created did is well.
The ads at first seemed like a small price to pay for "free" content and services until I learned that this was far from the truth.
The cost of Google is much more than distraction.
"What Google does is reach past your wallet, it disdains your money and your work and takes your time directly. An economy without money is essentially ruled by power..... " - George Gilder
We pay these companies not with our money but with our life.
And what do we receive in exchange?
Downgrading humanity.
Ekaminhale Customers
A large part of high performance is knowing where to look. - Josh Waitzken
"It always reminds me of the story about the woman who approached Picasso in a restaurant, asked him to scribble something on a napkin, and said she would be happy to pay whatever he felt it was worth. Picasso complied and then said, “That will be $10,000.”
“But you did that in thirty seconds,” the astonished woman replied.
“No,” Picasso said. “It has taken me forty years to do that.”"

I've spent thousands of hours and dollars learning how to achieve three outcomes in my own life
1. Maintaining a daily yoga practice
2. Go deeper (not further there's a big difference) into asanas
3. Achieve the highest level of health I can - mental, physical and spiritual
The first two have often worked against the third one.
I've had to make changes to both my practice, my life after practice and most importantly, which most people don't think about, my environment in order to align all 3.
When you decide to pay me for the content I've created I'm doing the opposite of Google.
I'm saving you time because I'm showing you where to look.
Where to look if the 3 desired outcomes above are the same for you.
